Born from a Passion for African Beauty

From skincare that doesn’t nourish properly to makeup that doesn’t match – we’ve all been there.

I know how frustrating it is to walk into beauty stores and not find products that suit darker skin.

For years, I felt like we were being left out. The products were either overpriced, ineffective, or simply not made for us.


That’s why I created House of Cosmetics – to give people like you and me a place where we’re truly seen. A place where every product is chosen with melanin-rich skin in mind. Where beauty is made for us, by us.

Who We Are

I started House of Cosmetics with one goal – to bring quality beauty products into the homes of people with darker skin. We import, export and sell a wide variety of cosmetics, skincare and haircare items that speak to our tones, our textures and our needs.


This brand is more than a store – it’s a statement. I wanted to build a home for African beauty. One where you feel confident shopping, and confident wearing what you buy.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Currently, we ship within South Africa. However, we are working on expanding to international shipping soon. Stay tuned for updates via our social media and newsletter.

  • How long does shipping take?

    Shipping usually takes 2–5 working days depending on your location within South Africa. You’ll receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

  • Can I return or exchange a product?

    Yes, returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unopened and in its original condition. Please read our Returns Policy or contact us for more details.

  • Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?
